Things To Do When You're Bored in Quarantine
Heyy
For this week's post I wanted to help you all out so I thought why not do a post about things you can do when you're bored ~ quarantine edition. I must say I haven't been soo bored but I like to do some of these things when I really don't know what to do.
1. Cook or bake
For this week's post I wanted to help you all out so I thought why not do a post about things you can do when you're bored ~ quarantine edition. I must say I haven't been soo bored but I like to do some of these things when I really don't know what to do.
1. Cook or bake
I put cooking as number one because it's my favorite thing to do when I'm bored. You can also bake and maybe try a new recipe. I love cooking and I'm also really good at making dough, if I do say so myself haha, so if y'all want a recipe on pizza dough, comment down below.
2. Have a self-care day
You could always treat yourself and do a glow-up, especially in this time where we have to stay at home. I also have a post on how to do a glow-up and I show you all of my favorite products at the moment.
3. Draw
I'm a very artistic person and I love to draw. Sometimes I like to draw a person, my dogs and everything really. I also like Top Model books where you can draw and create outfits.
I have about three Top Model books but this one is my favorite at the moment since I love dancing so much.
4. Learn a new language
Number 4 ~ learn a new language! Now that we have a lot of free time, it's the perfect opportunity to learn a new language like French, German or Chinese even.
The language I'm learning is Dutch. I actually started learning Dutch about a year after I started homeschooling and it's so much fun. Also, the app I'm using to learn Dutch is called Duolingo.
5. FaceTime family and friends.
I love to call or FaceTime my family and friends to check how they are doing and if they're still healthy and okay. It also makes me happy to see them even though it's over the phone.
6. Paint
This painting was totally out of my comfort zone. I would never have painted this but when I saw how easy it was, I thought I'd try it. And like I said I'm a very artistic person so I enjoyed painting this a lot. Painting took a good amount of time per day, so I recommend doing this if you're very bored.
7. Workout
Working out can really make you more happy and your mindset positive. This virus has made my mind negative a few times during quarantine but working out has made me feel so much better and so much more positive.
8. Write
The thing that has made me feel better and more positive other than working out is writing. I love to write in my journal during the day, right after I wake up, at night before I go to bed or I don't write at all. It depends on how I feel. But writing definitely makes me feel better and it takes up a good amount of time + one day when you're older you can read them.
9. Read my blog!
Number 9, read my blog. The next time you're bored take a look at my other blog posts and maybe try a recipe or two.
I think that's about it for this week. I hope this post help y'all not go crazy, lol. Make sure to check out last week's post ~ Curry Pasta Salad. I hope you guys enjoyed this one and remember to stay safe!
Bye xx
