My Make-up Routine!

Hiya!

I'm super excited for this week's blog post because I want to show you guys how I do my make-up!! I love doing my make-up especially on special occasions.

I just want to say that I am not a make-up artist and I don't have any experience in make-up. These make-up products are not originally made by me.

Let's start, shall we?

My Make-up Routine

 

Ok, so first I use face cream before I put any make-up on because I hate the feeling of make-up on dry skin, so I definitely put something on to moisturize my face.

Next, I put on face/mineral powder as a foundation. The reason why I don't use foundation is because I have sensitive skin and foundation doesn't really work well on me.

Here I have my face/mineral powder with a face powder and foundation brush. I use the face powder for all over my face and I use the foundation brush for under my eyes because since I have asthma it makes my under eyes a bit dark.

The next step to my make-up routine is eyebrows. This is probably going to sound SUPER weird but, I use my old mascara - that's kind of dried out but still has mascara in - for darkening my eyebrows. I know there's a lot of different brow pencils and products but they don't really work for me so I just use my old mascara. I also use a brow comb and brush to brush it to perfection because I am a perfectionist.

Next step is eyelashes. I love doing my eyelashes because it just makes your eyes so much better. If you asked me what make-up product I can't go without, I would definitely say mascara.

I do use an eyelash curler but I didn't take a photo of it because it is may be a bit dirty.

Now on to cheeks. I also love putting blush on because it brings a bit of colour in the look, unless you have a popping color of eyeshadow on.

This color is called 'Dusty Rose' and it's such a nice natural color for me. 

Last but certainly not least...lipstick! Fun fact about myself: I love natural colors! This lipstick color is one of my favorites. 

What I like to do is put the lipstick on first and then I do a little bit of lipgloss to give it a shiny type of look. And both of these are such cute colors for me.
