Pizza Dough

Hi everyone!

OK, I'm not going to lie - I love pizza! I mean, who doesn't? And so I thought today I could share this super easy recipe for pizza dough. It's so easy to mix and it's perfect for any type of pizza + you can freeze it and use it for another time.

Pizza Dough

Ingredients
1. 2 cups Flour
2. 10 g/1 packet Yeast
3. 1 1/2 tsp Sugar
4. 2 tbsp Oil
5. 3/4 cup Warm water

Method
  • First mix small amount of warm water, oil and sugar. Then add yeast and let it stand for 5 minutes.
  • Sif the flour and add the yeast mixture.
  • Pour the rest of the warm water till mixture forms a dough.
  • When dough is almost formed, put on a floured surface and knead for a few minutes.
  • Put dough back in the bowl, and cover with a kitchen towel.
  • Let the dough rise for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes cut and roll into preferred sizes.
  • Add toppings and enjoy!
I did change the method to the way I'm most comfortable with. With the flour, I measure on how many pizzas I'm going to make, for instance, 2 pizzas = 2 cups, 4 pizzas = 4 cups.
I changed the way you have to mix the yeast too. The original method said you have to add the sugar with the the flour, but if you add the sugar with the yeast and oil, it will activate the yeast more and let your dough rise even better.
Also, the recipe says you have to mix all of the warm water with the yeast and oil but I like the one where I only have to mix it with a little bit of warm water and honestly, I don't really measure the water - I just add it until I get the right consistency.

And this is the dough after it rises ~

I think that's about it. This recipe is awesome and super easy. It also come out crispy and brown. Oh, and don't forget to poke holes with a fork around the pizza dough before putting on any toppings otherwise the dough will inflate like a balloon. I hope you guys liked this week's recipe and I hope you try it. Thanks for reading! Stay safe!

Bye xx
