My Morning Routine

Hiya!

Welcome to another post! This week I wanted to do something that I enjoy and that's a morning routine. I believe if you have a productive and healthy morning routine, you'll be in a great mood for the rest of your day, so I decided to share my productive morning routine ~ winter edition.

Morning Routine


~ Wake up
5:45 - 6:00

Of course, the very first thing I do is wake up. I usually wake up around 5:45 at the sound of my alarm. I take about 15 minutes deciding whether or not I should get up out of my warm, comfortable bed, haha, so I get up around 6:00.

~ Put on warm slippers and help mom
6:00 - 6:15

After I get up, I immediately put on my warm slippers to avoid my feet from turning into ice-cubes because it is so cold. Next, I help my mom with giving the dogs food and packing a lunch for my dad for work.

~ Drink coffee and relax

6:15 - 6:45

When my mom and I are finished, we like to make ourselves a cup of warm coffee. While we drink our coffee we like to relax a bit too. My dad also wakes up around this time.

~ Clean room
6:45 - 7:00

Now it's time to clean my room. I'm usually a neat person so all I have to do is make my bed and put away some laundry that I was too lazy to put away the night before. 

~ Workout + do yoga
7:00 - 7:45



After my dad leaves for work, I get ready to workout. My mom and I workout together: she walks/runs on the treadmill for 20 minutes and I go on the exercise bike for 20 minutes. We're so grateful to have gym equipment in the house, especially during this time. When we're finished we like to do yoga for about half an hour.

~ Eat breakfast and get ready
7:45 - 8:30

Next I like to make myself something to eat like oatmeal or some toast. After breakfast I choose what I want to wear for the day and take a shower. I also brush my teeth, do my hair and put on some make-up. 

~ Start schoolwork
8:30



If you don't know, I do homeschooling and I love it! I used to start school at 8:00 but I was always late so I changed it to 8:30 and I feel a lot more relaxed.
