Banana Bread

Hey!

Welcome back to another post! Today I want to share another recipe that involves bananas! I love banana bread, especially my grandma's banana bread. They're so delicious, especially with some butter. When I saw this recipe on Pinterest, it looked so simple and easy to make, so I tried it and it came out much better than I expected. This recipe is by The Salty Marshmallow in case y'all wanted to know!

Best Banana Bread

ingredients:
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 ripe bananas
method:
  • Grease a loaf pan and preheat oven to 180°C (356°F)
  • Melt butter and mash bananas, then mix together. Add vanilla extract and eggs and mix well.
  • In another bowl, sift flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and sugar, then mix. Add your banana mixture with you flour mixture and mix well.
  • Pour batter into greased loaf pan and bake for 45 - 55 minutes or until toothpick comes out dry. Let cool when finished and cut into slices, spread some butter and enjoy!
This was my first time making a banana bread and it was perfect! After about 45 minutes, we checked on our banana bread and it wasn't baked all the way through so I baked it for another 10 - 15 minutes and switched the oven off. But I kept the banana bread in the oven while it was off, so it can bake all the way through without burning.
The banana bread is awesome the next day. We decided to keep a slice for my dad but he forgot about it and so my brother and I shared the piece the next day and it was more moist and delicious than the day before! So, I recommend ~ bake the banana bread and eat it the next day for the best results!

That's about it for this banana bread recipe! I hope y'all enjoyed it and comment down below if you've ever tried to bake a banana bread! Thanks for reading this post, and I hope you guys have a wonderful week! Stay safe!

Bye xx
