The best way to start your day! blogmas post 11

Hi!

Lately, I've been having a great start to my day! And I thought why not share all the things I do, in the morning, to give my day a good start! Also, can y'all believe it's blogmas post 11! Only 4 days left 'til Christmas!

How to have the best start to your day!
 
- write 3 or more things you're grateful for
 
I downloaded an app called Presently where you type all the things you're grateful for each day! You can choose the theme and things like that! They also have no ads, so you can type peacefully and honestly it's helped my mentality a lot since I've been doing it. Also, this is not a sponsor, I'm just mentioning the app because it's so amazing, haha!
 
- make a good cup of coffee or hydrate
 
I love a good, strong cup of coffee in the mornings but sometimes my mouth is a bit dry from my fan blowing on me all night so I'll take a good sip of water. 

- always make your bed soon after you wake up
 
 
Some days I feel like making my bed and other days I don't. But I always make sure that I make it soon after I get out of bed because something about a neat bed just gives me motivation to actually shower and wash all the laziness off. 
 
- workout or do some yoga

I love working out! And doing yoga with my mom! After I have a cup of coffee I love to workout and do yoga for 15 - 20 minutes so I can stretch after body is warmed up from the cardio. 

- always lotion your body and brush your teeth
 
After you take a shower, dry yourself gently and lotion your legs and arms. I love to lotion every morning to keep my skin moisturized, especially my arms. When I was younger, all I did was play in the dirt, run around and sweat like a crazy person and I never lotion-ed and now that I do, I can feel a difference!
 
 
Also, don't forget to brush your teeth! I make sure to brush my teeth twice everyday because, fun fact, my mom's an oral hygienist, so they have to be clean, haha.
 
- make a healthy breakfast (and don't skip it!)
 
I love making scrambled eggs on some toast with cheese! Mmm, my mouth's watering as I type it! Make a delicious and healthy breakfast that gives you energy, and never skip breakfast! Even if it's just an apple!
 
- make a to-do list of things you want to get done
 
Make a to-do list so you can feel satisfied when you get something done! I don't know what it is about to-do lists but there's something oddly satisfying about ticking off something that I completed.
