Trying Notion For A Week

Hiya!

Welcome back to this week's post! I've heard so much about Notion so I decided to try it for a week and share my experience using it with you guys. I'll see if it makes me more productive, organized and just helps the busy/schoolwork/extra projects side of my life.
Notion is a productivity app, an all-in-one workspace where you can create anything, from to-do lists to meal planners, to organize your life and stay productive.
Disclaimer: This blog post is in no way sponsored by Notion, I'm only sharing my honest opinion and experience.

Here is my dashboard and I decided to put my to-do list and gratitude table on here, with my blog's timetable of the month and a quote of the week!

tuesday

Today was the first time I made notes on Notion and I really liked how they turned out. I decided to make a separate page for each subject I'm taking notes on and I love how the cover and emoji fits with each subject.

I enjoyed taking notes and how easy and flexible it is to make them pretty!
I also like how you can save space by choosing the "toggle" option.
I enjoy making notes in a Word document but using Notion was fun and efficient as well. I guess we'll see at the end of the week which one I choose to make notes on!
I also ticked all the subjects I completed in my weekly planner, added my daily gratitude, and changed my blog post from "still editing" to "published. "

This is the cover I chose for my weekly planner! I loved how it turned out.

wednesday

Today I took Civics & Government notes and I enjoyed it! I also had a very productive day and got some things done; I worked out this morning, did schoolwork, and got some things done on my to-do list.

I would say it was a pretty good day overall and I enjoyed using Notion today! I added my gratitude this morning, made notes for school, and ticked a few things off my to-do list.

thursday

Today I was excited to take more notes and it was a productive day! I also took Chemistry notes but not on Notion because I had already started making them on another program before I set up my Notion account. I like how easy it is to add something to my to-do list and check it off and how I can make adjustments to my schedule. And I love how aesthetically pleasing you can make everything! I added my gratitude this morning (which felt great to start my day with gratitude!) and added a task to my to-do list.

friday

Today I didn't do much on Notion, I only worked on my to-do list and added my gratitude, and ticked off some things on my schedule.

My weekend didn't require any organizing or planning so I didn't use Notion that much--except, of course, for my gratitude.

my overall experience

Let's start off with productivity.
Notion definitely made me more productive, especially with planning out my days and to-do lists. I loved preparing Notion for the week ahead and ticking things off each day when tasks were completed.
I also enjoyed how flexible Notion was and how easy it was to set up a page for anything.
Regarding notes, I had a really nice time making them. Plus, I like how you can add a cover to each page and an emoji as the page's symbol, which makes things organized and aesthetically pleasing.
Although I love making notes on Notion, I think I'll stick to Microsoft Word because I know how to manage it better than Notion and there are a few other things I like more about Word than Notion, like, you can use Word when you're offline and how easy it is to access tools on Word.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience using Notion and I do recommend it if you're a student or someone who just wants to get their life organized and hope to be more productive!

Thank you for reading this week's post, I hope you have an amazing week! Stay safe!

Bye xx
