I think it'll be a fun blog post and maybe you'll even discover some crazy, weird facts that you never thought of, so today I'll be sharing them!

10 weird and fun facts that you probably don't know

A blue whale's tongue can weigh as much as an elephant

This one is really interesting to me because imagine how much the blue whale must weigh if its tongue can weigh as much as an elephant! Another fun fact about a whale's heart is it only needs to beat once every ten seconds!

The inventor of the internet regrets the URL setup

Look at the link above, see the "//" after the "https:", Tim Berners-Lee, who created the main software of the World Wide Web, said he regretted adding the "//" after the "https:"
It was standard for programming and looking back at 2009, he said it would've saved time and space because it doesn't serve any real purpose.
 
A flock of ravens is called an "unkindness"
 
Imagine seeing a flock of ravens and saying, "There goes an unkindness of ravens." They're also called a conspiracy.

Snails can sleep up to 3 years

I guess they're slow in their sleep as well! 😁

In all 50 states of America, the letter "Q" does not appear in any of the names

This is also an interesting one and I didn't even notice it until I read this fact! Also, the last letter added to the alphabet was "J"

Imagine being a spy and working at the CIA and you feel like having a coffee, then you remember, you literally have a Starbucks that you can walk to. Another fun fact is, baristas don't write names on the cup.
