7 Ways To Fill An Empty Notebook
Hi everyone,
Welcome back to this week's post! Today I want to share seven ways to fill an empty notebook. I have an unhealthy obsession with buying new notebooks whenever I see one I really like. This causes me to have an overload of notebooks in my drawer, to the point where my drawer struggles to slide in and out smoothly. The thing is, all these notebooks are empty for two reasons: I brought them with no reason at all and I'm too scared to ruin them, so they just lie in my drawer.
BUT, today I am sharing ways and ideas to inspire you to fill those notebooks, without ruining their ✨beauty✨ Let's start!
7 ways you can use an empty notebook
daily journal or a religion journal
You can use an empty notebook as a journal to write in everyday. Journaling is great way to get your head clear after a busy day and it's one of my favorite things to do. It's also a lot fun to write down everything that happened between the last time you wrote and the present, not to mention reading past entries!
If you have a religion, a journal surrounding your beliefs may be perfect!
More than a year ago, I brought a beautiful devotion book and decided to buy a notebook with. I've been using this notebook ever since to write down prayers, worries, gratitude, my thoughts on a certain devotion and experiences.
scrapbook
This one is a lot of fun. Print a bunch of funky pictures, find stickers and objects and scraps of whatever around the house and stick it all on the empty notebook pages!
Scrapbooking is a way to preserve memories through artwork and photographs.
Creating pages in a scrapbook is also time consuming, perfect for those moments you're bored and it's a lot of fun to stick anything you can find on a page.
bullet journal
A bullet journal is a method of organization. It can be used for to-do lists, notes, reminders, weekly or monthly planners and anything else that may involve organization. It can also be used for other things but it mostly revovles around organizing and drawing.
planner
Make your own planner! Take a notebook and draw the year's calendar. This could be an exciting project to get your creative juices flowing. You can also opt for a weekly or monthly planner!
learn a language
Have you ever thought of learning a new language? I'm currently learning Dutch and I'm using an A4 book to write all the new words, phrases and sentences I'm learning. You could try French or German or Mandarin, it's all a lot of fun. There are many free platforms that could teach you a new language!
sketchbook
Even if you believe you can't draw, fill an empty notebook with your sketches! I love to sketch and draw but I haven't done it in a long time so I might even create a sketchbook too!
Drawing and painting is a lot of fun no matter how the end product turns out.
to-do lists
I have a notebook that is filled with daily to-do lists. It's actually really effective too and it helps me to write down any tasks I plan to complete for the day!
This is great if you are a very organized person like me!
Those are all of the best ideas I came up with! An empty notebook is conflicting because of how I want to fill it but not ruin it, lol, so go ahead and just color and draw and stick and create! If all else fails, you could just buy a new notebook!
That's it for this week's post! Thanks for reading!
I hope your November is super successful! The past month was busy and involved a lot of painting and building and cleaning. The month flew by, making me skip a blog post *face palm* but hopefully November is calm.
Then December will be crazy again. I can't believe it's almost Christmas! Where has this year gone?
Anyway, I hope you have a fantastic day and I'll see you again in two weeks!
👀 question: do you also have an unhealthy obsession with notebooks?
Bye xx
