How I stay productive!

Hiya!

Let's all be honest, we all have stayed in our pjs for one whole day, eating junk food and binge watched a series, since quarantine has started, right? Well, although those days were nice, it's time to be productive and change into another set of clothes. Today, I'll be sharing things I do to keep myself productive!


Things I do to keep myself productive ~

make a to-do list

I love making to-do lists, it motivates me to do the things that need to be done. Every Sunday night before I go to bed, I like to make one for the week and everyday in my planner I like to make one for the day. 

clean regularly 

I always like to keep my space neat and organized, especially my desk. We have 3 laundry days in our house (mostly because my brother and dad wears too many clothes, lol) and sometimes I'm really lazy to put them away in my drawers but lately I've been putting them neatly away so they're not just lying around.
Also, every Monday we clean the house which has helped me a lot with keep things tidy and clean.

have a healthy routine

I love to have a routine that I can follow every day, from morning to night. Sometimes I have a very busy week and having a routine does help me a lot with keeping up. I also have a post on a Day in My Life as a Homeschooled Teen if you want to go check it out <3 

workout + do yoga

Lately, my mom and I have been doing yoga and we enjoy it a lot. Then after we do yoga, we like to workout. Working out does give me motivation on those days when I feel a bit down and keeps me productive. 


Fun fact: working out makes our brains perform better, so working out before school is a great way to start the day!

don't work too hard

Some days I push myself to finish all of my schoolwork or try to do all the things on my to-do list but when I realize I'm pushing myself too hard, I take a deep breath and leave it for tomorrow. This has helped me lots because when I do work too hard, the next day I am exhausted and slack with my schoolwork, which just makes it worse. Also try to do as much as you can per day but when you feel tired or feel like you want to give up, take a break and try again or do it tomorrow.

Taking a break now and then helps me get back on track because once I'm sitting at my desk too long, I get unmotivated and lazy.

turn off any devices when doing schoolwork

I usually have my phone next to me when I do schoolwork, so when I need to search something, I have it. But I make sure my ringtone and notifications are off so when I get a message, I don't get distracted.
