Things To Do When You're Bored! pt. 2
Hi guys!
So, a few months ago, I did a post on things to do when you're bored ~ quarantine edition. And I thought, maybe I should do a second one since it looks like we're going to be in quarantine for another while. The other day I was a bit bored and I had no idea what to do, so when I'm bored again, I could come back to this post, haha.
If you want to read the first one, here's the link ~ Things To Do When You're Bored In Quarantine
things to keep yourself busy at home ~
1. Clean + organize your bedroom
OK, I'm not going to lie, I love cleaning and organizing; especially my bedroom. Cleaning my bedroom and sorting out my closet, drawers, shelves and stationary does keep me busy and takes a good amount of time, plus I love doing it.
2. Try a new hairstyle
Lately, I've been obsessed with curls. Every night I look up a video on how to get heat less curls and I do them. One night at 10:00 PM I asked my mom for a pair of socks to try heat less curls and she didn't mind, so slept with three pairs of her socks braided in my hair that night.
3. Make a mask
Make a mask! Try to make a face mask you can wear when out in public or for going to the store. I finished making my mask about a while ago and I love how it turned out. Also, if you want a post on how to make a mask, then comment down below and I'll be more than happy to show you guys how!
4. Make a scrunchie!
I love wearing scrunchies! Seriously, they've saved my life; one time I had to tie my hair and I had no hair tie, scrunchie or anything around my wrist and I thought that was the end so after that saga I always wear a scrunchie!
I actually have a blog post on how to make a scrunchie, if y'all want to go check it out ~ DIY Scrunchies
5. Start a blog!
Starting a blog was the best thing that has ever happened to me! I enjoy typing the posts and customizing it! Typing the blog posts are so much fun and they do take time, especially with photos. So, if you're bored, then start a blog ~ you won't regret it!
6. Have a DIY photoshoot
Put on some make-up, put on your best outfit and have a DIY photoshoot in your garden. I love doing this, it's so much fun! I actually had a mini photoshoot with my 2 dogs and they turned out perfect. You can also include your family and put the photos in a frame to hang it in your house!
7. Make a birthday card
My dad's birthday is coming up and I love making birthday cards + it takes up a good amount of time. If someone's birthday is coming up, then make a birthday card or make a cute DIY gift for them. I made an exploding box for my brother this year and he loved it!
8. Face time family and friends
I had this in the previous post as well but I decided to put it in this one too because sometimes when quarantine is a bit too much for me, I face time, text or call my friends and family to see how they are doing and I'm so grateful that my family is safe and healthy!
9. Start a YouTube channel
Start a YouTube channel! I've actually considered starting one a while ago but I decided I'm going to focus on my blog only and I am kind of awkward in front of a camera, haha.
10. Start binge watching a new series
Quarantine has made me lazy a lot of times and I started watching a few new series during this time but unfortunately all my shows have ended and now I have to wait 500 years for a new season to start. So, start binge watching a new series, it's so much fun!
I'm very excited to announce to you guys that I have a Pinterest account, where I created pins that have links to my blog posts! If you want to save some of those pins to your boards, here's my account! ~ TeenagerChef
That's all I have for you today! Comment down below things you do keep yourself busy during lockdown! Thanks for reading this week's post and I hope y'all have a great week! Stay safe!
Bye xx
